This week, in the English class, the 4th graders went shopping.
In pairs, one was a shopkeeper and the other a buyer. We had three types of stores: clothing, stationary and food.
Do you know that English people don't use Euros? They have pounds and pennies.
We have been practicing the grammatical structures of "How much is it?" and "How much are they?" And their answers: “It’s £3.15” and “They’re £25.50”.
It’s been fun to learn while we perform a role play!
