Hi havia una vegada, una mòmia i un elefant...

This week, as part of the "Hi havia una vegada..." project, the students of 4th grade worked hard to reproduce some famous rock formations of Montserrat. 

They used clay for the activity and the four chosen peaks were: el mico, l'elefant, la mòmia i la momieta. For this activity we made groups of 4 and each kid was tasked with sculpting one of the rocks. 

Students had to work individually but also take into account the sculpture of their mates. All the rocks of each group would be put together, and the volume of each piece in the set was important for them to make sense as a whole.

It was a very interesting experience and we are proud of our creations!
