4th graders are currently learning how to tell time to a quarter in English. It was a bit confusing in the beginning to understand when to use "past" and "to" when saying the quarters, so we've been practicing with a few games which combined analog and digital clocks.
First we played a bingo game, it got us really nervous and excited to see who would be the first one to call "BINGO!". We also played a board game in small groups of two to four students, it was a fun competition. We've been getting better and more confident at telling time!
